About the Event

The Maharishi School of Business Management (MSoBM), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida, in association with IQAC and in collaboration with AIMA/Anubhavshala, organized an engaging session on “Exploring Humanity in the Digital Age” on 13th August 2026.

The session was conducted by Mr. Deepankar Raina, Founder of Anubhavshala, who engaged the students in a thoughtful discussion on the importance of staying connected to our human values and building meaningful relationships in today’s rapidly changing digital environment.

The programme began with the felicitation and introduction of the resource person by Dr. Ashish Gupta, Deputy Dean, MSoBM. Following this, Mr. Raina interacted with the students and explored various aspects of human behaviour, empathy, communication, emotional connection, and relationship-building in the digital age. He highlighted that while technology has made communication faster and more convenient, genuine human connection, understanding, and empathy continue to play an essential role in our personal and professional lives.

A major highlight of the session was its interactive and experiential approach. The resource person conducted three engaging activities that gave students an opportunity to understand and experience the concepts discussed during the session. The activities encouraged students to participate actively, communicate with one another, reflect on their own behaviour, and appreciate the importance of empathy and meaningful relationships. This practical approach made the session lively and relatable and helped students connect the learning with situations they encounter in everyday life.

The session also encouraged students to reflect on how excessive dependence on digital communication can sometimes affect interpersonal relationships. Through open discussions and practical activities, students were encouraged to develop empathy, active listening, effective communication, and a balanced approach to the use of technology.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Ashish Gupta, Deputy Dean, MSoBM. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the resource person, collaborating organizations, faculty members, and students for their valuable contribution and enthusiastic participation in making the session meaningful and successful.

Conclusion

The session on “Exploring Humanity in the Digital Age” was an enriching and engaging learning experience for the students. It successfully highlighted the need to preserve human values, empathy, effective communication, and meaningful relationships in an increasingly digital world.

The three practical activities added an experiential dimension to the session and encouraged students to reflect on their own interactions and apply the learning in their personal and professional lives. The session concluded with a meaningful message: technology may connect us digitally, but empathy, understanding, and genuine human relationships are what connect us emotionally.
