“Empowering Business Minds through HR Crossword and Quiz Competition for Potential Managers”

Objective of the Event

The objective of the HR Crossword and Quiz Competition was to enhance students’ knowledge of Human Resource Management through an interactive and competitive learning activity. The competition aimed to develop analytical thinking, quick decision-making, teamwork, communication skills, confidence, and awareness of contemporary HR practices.

Participating Students

Students from the MBA, BBA, and B.Com. programmes participated in the HR Crossword and Quiz Competition. The participants were divided into four teams and actively engaged in the competition, demonstrating their understanding of HR concepts and emerging workplace practices. A total of 35 students participated in the activity.

Event Details

The HR Club of Maharishi School of Business Management (MSoBM) organised the “Empowering Business Minds through HR Crossword and Quiz Competition for Potential Managers” on 12 August 2026 (Wednesday) at the MSoBM Department, Maharishi University, Noida Campus.

The competition commenced with an introduction to its objectives and guidelines. Four teams participated in various rounds covering contemporary Human Resource Management topics, including AI and Recruitment, Recent Corporate HR Cases, Employee Engagement and Well-being, HR Analytics, Diversity and Inclusion, and Current HR Trends.

The students demonstrated their knowledge of emerging HR practices, including algorithmic bias, AI-assisted talent acquisition, employee engagement, predictive HR analytics, inclusive hiring, psychological safety, skills-based hiring, hybrid work, HR chatbots, and data literacy in the AI era.

The competition enabled students to connect theoretical HR concepts with practical workplace situations while strengthening their critical thinking, quick decision-making, teamwork, and collaborative learning skills. All four teams participated actively, demonstrating confidence, team spirit, and a keen interest in understanding the changing role of HR in the modern workplace.

The HR Crossword and Quiz Competition served as an experiential learning activity, strengthening students’ understanding of HRM while developing their analytical abilities, confidence, teamwork, and awareness of contemporary HR practices.

At the conclusion of the activity, Dr. Ashish Gupta, Deputy Dean, MSoBM, appreciated the efforts of the students. His presence encouraged the participants and contributed to the successful conclusion of the event.
