INTRODUCTION:

Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida Campus, in collaboration with Maharishi Ashram, celebrated Guru Purnima Mahotsav on 29 July 2026 with profound devotion, spiritual enthusiasm, and cultural fervour at Utsav Bhavan, Maharishi Nagar, Noida. The programme was organized to honour the timeless Guru–Shishya tradition and to inspire participants towards higher consciousness, harmony, and self-development.

The celebrations commenced in a serene and spiritually charged atmosphere with the gathering of university dignitaries, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and devotees. The event reflected the teachings and vision of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, emphasizing the role of the Guru in awakening human potential and promoting world peace

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

The full-day spiritual programme commenced with Rudrabhishek (8:00–11:00 AM), followed by an introduction to Guru Purnima, Guru Pujan and a recorded discourse of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji.

The programme included the TM Sidhi and Yogic Flying Block Completion Ceremony, cultural presentations, blessings from the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, inspiring words from the Director General, guidance from the Hon'ble Chancellor and collective meditation. Ms. Aditi Shrivastava explained that the Guru removes the darkness of ignorance and fills life with divine light. Mr. Aalok Shrivastava emphasized the importance of the Guru and conveyed heartfelt wishes to all, followed by distribution of Prasad. In the evening, devotees participated in Sundar Kand Path (4:00–6:30 PM), Bhajan Sandhya and Aarti (6:30–7:00 PM)

The event concluded with a community Bhandara from 7:00 PM onwards. Students, faculty members, TM practitioners and devotees participated enthusiastically, making the entire campus resonate with Vedic chants, devotion and the grace of the Guru.
