Objectives

The Three-Day Capacity Building Programme on “The Entrepreneurial Teacher: Change Agent” was organized by MUIT Incubation Innovation and Foundation (MIIF), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus, with the objective of empowering educators to become effective change agents in the field of education.

The programme aimed to develop an entrepreneurial mindset among participants by enhancing their understanding of innovation, creativity, leadership, and problem-solving. It focused on equipping educators with the knowledge and practical skills required to foster entrepreneurship, promote experiential learning, and encourage innovative teaching practices.

Through expert sessions, interactive discussions, group activities, and practical exercises, the programme sought to strengthen participants’ ability to inspire students, support innovation, and contribute to building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within higher education institutions.

Proceedings of the Programme

Day 1

The first day of the Three-Day Capacity Building Programme on “The Entrepreneurial Teacher: Change Agent” commenced with a warm welcome to all participants, followed by an introduction to the objectives and significance of the programme.

The sessions were conducted by Ms. Rita Sengupta, who emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, creativity, and leadership in the education sector. She explained how educators can play a vital role in nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among students and contributing to the development of an innovation-driven academic environment.

The sessions included interactive discussions, thought-provoking activities, and collaborative learning exercises that encouraged participants to exchange ideas and experiences. Various team-based activities were organized to strengthen communication, creativity, leadership, and decision-making skills.

The participants actively engaged in all the activities with great enthusiasm, making the learning process highly interactive and meaningful. The first day concluded with an engaging discussion and reflection on the key concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation, providing a strong foundation for the subsequent sessions.

Day 2

The second day of the programme focused on strengthening entrepreneurial competencies through practical learning experiences and active participation. The sessions highlighted the importance of problem-solving, critical thinking, strategic planning, and teamwork in developing an entrepreneurial approach to teaching and professional responsibilities.

Participants were encouraged to think creatively, analyse different situations, and identify innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Several group activities, business games, collaborative exercises, and case-based discussions were conducted to provide hands-on learning experiences. These activities enabled participants to understand the significance of effective communication, leadership, resource management, and decision-making in entrepreneurial development.

The participants worked together in teams, exchanged innovative ideas, and demonstrated active involvement throughout the sessions. The learning environment remained highly engaging, allowing participants to enhance both their personal and professional competencies while gaining practical insights into entrepreneurial education.

Day 3

The third and final day of the programme focused on consolidating the knowledge and skills acquired during the previous sessions and encouraging participants to apply them in their academic and professional practices.

The sessions emphasized innovation, leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, and the practical implementation of these concepts within educational institutions. Participants actively engaged in group presentations, idea-sharing sessions, and interactive discussions, reflecting on the key learnings and experiences gained throughout the programme.

Various collaborative activities and reflection sessions enabled participants to evaluate their learning outcomes and explore ways to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in their respective institutions.

An interactive feedback session was also conducted, during which participants shared their observations and valuable suggestions regarding the overall programme.

The programme concluded with a Certificate Distribution Ceremony, during which certificates were presented to all participants in recognition of their successful participation and active involvement in the three-day programme.

The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the resource person, MUIT Incubation Innovation and Foundation (MIIF), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida Campus, and all the participants for their enthusiastic support and contribution towards the successful completion of the programme.
