Educational Visit to Mahua Tv

Objective of the visit: The purpose of the event is to familiarize students with real-time newsroom operations and broadcast journalism.  It will also offer students with hands-on exposure to professional media practice. And bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices.

Participating Students:

The students of BA (J&MC) along with the faculty members of the department participated in the visit.

The students also visited the newsroom, editing section, and studio setup, where media professionals explained various technical and editorial processes involved in television journalism. They observed how raw footage and news updates are converted into news packages before being aired on television. The visit helped students understand the importance of teamwork, accuracy, speed, and technical coordination in electronic media.

An interactive session was also conducted during the visit where students actively asked questions related to newsroom operations, editing techniques, reporting, and career opportunities in television media. The professionals answered their queries and shared valuable industry experiences. The visit proved to be an enriching and informative experience for the students, as it provided them with practical knowledge and enhanced their understanding of broadcast journalism beyond classroom learning.
