“Farewell Fiesta 2026”

Introduction

Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology at Maharishi University of Information Technology successfully organized “Farewell Fiesta’26” with great enthusiasm and celebration for the graduating students of B.Tech., BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Actuarial Science, and Diploma programmes. The event witnessed the participation of around 500 students who came together to celebrate their journey, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy the vibrant farewell evening.

Objectives of the Event

• To give a warm farewell to the outgoing students.
• To strengthen the bond between seniors and juniors through cultural and interactive activities.
• To create a joyful and memorable conclusion to the academic journey of the graduating students.

Event Highlights

The programme began with a welcome speech by the faculty members, who appreciated the contributions of the students to the institution.

The farewell celebration was filled with cultural performances, music, fun activities, and emotional moments as students bid goodbye to their college life and prepared to step into a new phase of their careers. The event reflected the spirit of unity, friendship, and togetherness among students and faculty members.

One of the major highlights of the event was the crowning ceremony, where Mr. Govind was awarded the title of “Mr. Fresher” and Ms. Khushi was honoured as “Ms. Fresher” for their confidence, talent, and outstanding performance. Team Gandharva Ved also received the award for the “Best Performance” for their energetic and entertaining musical act during the celebration.

The grand success of Farewell Fiesta’26 was made possible under the guidance and support of Prof. Dr. Awakash Mishra, Dean (MSoET). Special appreciation was extended to the organising committee members — Dr. Savita, Dr. Kusum Lata, Dr. Neha Taneja, Dr. Intekhab Alam, Ms. Shivani, Mr. Samridh, and Mr. Sandeep — for their dedicated efforts in planning and coordinating the event smoothly.

The university also acknowledged the contribution of the student group “Social Technocrats”, whose enthusiasm and teamwork added charm and excitement to the celebration. The event concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving behind cherished memories for all the graduating students.

Conclusion

The farewell party proved to be an effective platform for celebrating the journey of the graduating batch and fostering a sense of unity within the department. It not only served as an emotional goodbye but also motivated the outgoing students in their future professional and academic endeavours.
