Objective of the Event: The objective of the Farewell Party was to bid a heartfelt goodbye to the outgoing seniors and celebrate their memorable journey in the institution. The event aimed to strengthen the bond among students and teachers, provide a platform to showcase talent, create joyful memories, and motivate seniors for their future endeavors and achievements.

Participating Students: The Farewell Party was organized by the second and Fourth -semester students from the Bachelor of Science and Humanities program for their senior classmates as well as final- semester students from the Master of Humanities program.

Event Flow

Welcome Address: - The event commenced with a warm welcome ceremony for the respected teachers and senior students. The juniors greeted the faculty members and seniors with great respect and admiration. The welcoming atmosphere reflected gratitude towards the seniors for their contribution and guidance throughout their academic journey. The venue was beautifully decorated, creating a vibrant and cheerful environment that perfectly matched the spirit of the occasion.

Highlights of the Event

  1. Icebreaker Activities: - To help seniors mingle and break the ice, several engaging activities were organized. These included:
    • “Flipping and catching the pencils in air”: Flipping and catching pencils in the air can be a fun and engaging activity, often used as a simple skill or trick.
  2. Cultural Performances: - The cultural segment of the day featured talented performances by senior students:
    • Dance Performances: Various dance acts showcased different styles, including contemporary, traditional, and fusion dances, capturing the audience's attention and adding vibrancy to the event.
  3. Mr. and Ms. Farwell Contest Rounds: - The event also included exciting contest rounds to engage seniors:
    • Round 1: Talent Hunt: Freshers demonstrated their unique skills, ranging from singing to dancing.

Round 2: Question and Answer Session: An interactive Q&A session was held between the judges and the contestants. Judges asked questions from the contestants related to their personality.

           Round 3: Ramp Walk: Participants confidently showcased their style and                                         personality on stage.

  1. Mr. and Ms. Farewell: - The selection of Mr. and Ms. Farewell was a key highlight of the event. Following rounds of talent showcases, a Q&A session, and ramp walks, Mr. Durgesh was named Mr. Farewell and Ms. Arti was named Ms. Farewell. They received sashes and gifts amidst enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Conclusion

The event was further enriched by the inspiring address of Dean Ma’am. She congratulated the seniors on successfully completing an important phase of their lives and encouraged them to pursue their future goals with confidence and determination. She appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and praised the students for conducting such a well-organized and entertaining farewell celebration.

One of the most emotional moments of the event was the gift distribution ceremony, where juniors presented gifts and tokens of love to the seniors. The exchange of gifts symbolized respect, affection, and gratitude. The seniors expressed happiness and appreciation for the thoughtful gestures made by their juniors. Faculty of School of Science and Humanities, including Ms. Sonakshi Saxena, Dr. Priyanka Bhardwaj, Dr. Alok Kumar Verma, Dr. Rinkal Tyagi, Dr. lata, Dr. Tenzit Tyagi, Mr. Dhiraj Chaudhary, Dr. Nishikant Bharti, Dr. Swati, Dr. Sudhir, Dr. Alok, Dr. Himani, Dr. Surbhi, Mr. Amit, Dr. Priyanka Bhardwaj attended the event to show their support and celebrate this special occasion.
