Objective of the Event:

The objective of the session was to provide students with practical insights into career planning, placement preparation, and professional skill development required in today’s competitive corporate environment. The session aimed to enhance students’ awareness regarding industry expectations, employability skills, communication abilities, and long-term career growth opportunities.

Participating Students:

A total of 70 students registered for the session, out of which 50 students from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BBA, B.Com, and MBA, actively participated in the session.

About the Session:

The session commenced with the felicitation of the guest speaker, Mr. Bijoy Dev, by the Dean of MSoBM, Dr. Azad Singh, as a gesture of gratitude and respect. While welcoming the guest speaker, Dr. Azad Singh appreciated the collaboration with Bajaj Capital–ICoFP and highlighted the importance of industry-oriented learning and career guidance sessions for the holistic development of students.

Addressing the students, he emphasized that the right skills open the door to a successful career. He encouraged students to prepare themselves for long-term professional growth by continuously enhancing their knowledge, communication abilities, and industry-relevant skills. He also stressed the importance of self-discipline, confidence, adaptability, and a positive attitude in achieving career success.

During the session, Mr. Bijoy Dev guided students on various aspects of career improvement and employability enhancement. He highlighted the significance of developing effective communication skills, leadership qualities, analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities to meet corporate expectations. He further encouraged students to stay updated with industry trends, focus on practical learning, and actively participate in internships, training programmes, and professional certification courses to strengthen their career prospects.

The speaker also explained the importance of financial planning education and informed students about emerging opportunities in the finance and corporate sectors. He motivated students to set clear career goals, work consistently towards skill enhancement, and maintain a professional approach in both academic and corporate environments.

Students gained practical exposure to career opportunities, placement strategies, resume building, interview preparation techniques, and professional competencies required in today’s competitive job market. The interactive session included engaging discussions and student queries, making it highly informative, motivational, and career-oriented.

The session concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by the Dean, Dr. Azad Singh, who expressed sincere gratitude to the esteemed speaker, faculty members, organizers, and students for their active participation and contribution to the success of the event. The session proved to be highly beneficial for the students, encouraging them to strengthen their employability skills and prepare confidently for future career opportunities.
