Introduction
Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida successfully organized a workshop on Power BI for B. Tech. students. The session was conducted by Ms. Gurkirat Kaur a skilled professional in data analytics and business intelligence from upGrad.

The workshop began with an introduction to Power BI, highlighting its importance in today’s data-driven world and its application in various industries.
During the session, the resource person demonstrated how to import data from different sources and explained the process of data cleaning and transformation using different tools. Students were also introduced to creating interactive dashboards and reports using various visualization tools like charts, graphs, maps and slicers.
The hands-on session enabled participants to work on real-time datasets, helping them understand how to analyze data effectively and derive meaningful insights. Key concepts such as data modeling and report sharing were also explained in a simple and practical manner.
The Power BI workshop was successfully conducted and proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the students.
