Objective of the Event:
The objective of MUIT Young Sharks-Season 3 was to provide a dynamic platform for budding entrepreneurs and innovative thinkers to showcase their business ideas. The competition aimed to foster entrepreneurial thinking, encourage creative problem-solving, and connect student innovators with experienced industry mentors and investors. It served as a launchpad for students to transform their ideas into actionable business plans.
Participating Students:
Students from various undergraduate and postgraduate programs including B.Tech, BBA, MBA, B.Pharm and other disciplines from premier institutions across India actively participated in the competition and presented their innovative business ideas before the esteemed jury.
About the Event:
The event began on an auspicious note with a traditional Guru Puja, setting a positive and inspiring tone for the day. Dr. Trapty Agarwal, Dean Academics, MUIT Noida, extended a warm welcome to the participants and graciously felicitated the distinguished jury members, enhancing the dignity of the occasion. The presence of Dr. Azad Singh, Dean, Maharishi School of Business Management, further added value, as he actively supported the smooth and successful execution of the event. The competition was structured in two rounds. Round 1 was an Online Submission Round where teams submitted their business plans for initial evaluation. Round 2 was an Offline Presentation and Final Round held at the MUIT Noida Campus on 11th April, 2026. The participation fee was nil, with teams comprising a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
The event witnessed participation from various prestigious institutions including IIIT Vadodara, ABES Engineering College, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Rukmani Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Sharda University, Masters’ Union College, and MUIT. Top 12 teams presented innovative business ideas across diverse domains such as technology, sustainability, and consumer solutions, showcasing creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of an esteemed panel of jury members who evaluated the business plans on parameters of innovation, feasibility, market potential, and presentation quality. The jury comprised Mr. Gitesh Kumar (Drone Entrepreneur, Founder- Hawaiadda Aerial Innovations Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Inderjeet Sharma (Head HR, Admin & IR, Krishna Grupo Antolin Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Alok Rai (Climate-Tech Entrepreneur and Sustainability Leader, Founder-Alarth Green), and Er. Divyanshu Yadav (IPR & Corporate Lawyer).
Certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their enthusiastic involvement. The first prize was awarded to Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panipat, who received ₹21,000 along with a trophy and certificates. Masters’ Union College, Gurugram secured the second position with a cash prize of ₹11,000, while Maharishi School of Business Management, Noida achieved the third position, receiving ₹5,100 along with certificates. Consolation recognition was also presented to IIIT Vadodara, along with certificates, for their commendable effort.
