The objective of the Marketing Conclave was to bridge the gap between industry and academia by providing students with practical insights into contemporary marketing practices, emerging trends, and real-world challenges faced by professionals in the marketing domain.
Students from B.Com and MBA programs actively participated in the conclave and benefited from the knowledge shared by the esteemed speakers.
The conclave commenced with a Guru Pooja and Tilak Ceremony, creating a positive and respectful atmosphere for the event. This was followed by a warm welcome for the distinguished guests.
The guests were felicitated as a token of respect and appreciation by Dr. Azad Singh, Dean, Maharishi School of Business Management, along with the Deputy Dean, MSoBM, who acknowledged their valuable presence and contribution.
The conclave witnessed the gracious presence of eminent speakers, including Dr. Lalit Kumar Sharma, Mr. Avinash Srivastava, Dr. Sahab Singh, and Mr. Rohit Sharma. Each speaker shared their professional experiences and provided deep insights into the dynamic field of marketing.
Dr. Lalit Kumar Sharma addressed the theme of Industry–Academia Collaboration for Future-Ready Marketers. He emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry requirements through practical learning, internships, and collaborative projects. His session highlighted how institutions and organizations must work together to develop skilled and adaptable marketing professionals.
Mr. Avinash Srivastava delivered an engaging session on AI and Data-Driven Marketing: Joint Innovation Models. He discussed the growing role of artificial intelligence in transforming marketing strategies, customer insights, and decision-making processes.
Dr. Sahab Singh focused on Sustainable and Ethical Marketing through Partnerships. His session underscored the significance of responsible marketing practices, ethical decision-making, and sustainability in building long-term brand value.
Mr. Rohit Sharma spoke on Bridging Marketing Theory and Industry Practice. He highlighted the gap between classroom learning and real-world application and provided practical insights into how students can align their academic knowledge with industry expectations through skill development and experiential learning.
The session was highly interactive and engaging. A question-and-answer session was conducted in which students actively participated and raised their queries related to marketing concepts, industry expectations, and career opportunities. The speakers addressed these queries effectively, providing clarity and valuable guidance. A dedicated moderation round was also conducted, during which the moderator posed insightful questions to the guest speakers.
The conclave served as an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and interaction between students and industry experts. It helped enhance students’ understanding and bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.
Overall, the Marketing Conclave 2026 proved to be highly informative, engaging, and impactful. It successfully fulfilled its objective of strengthening industry–academia collaboration while providing students with valuable practical exposure to real-world marketing practices. The insightful sessions, interactive discussions, and active participation of students contributed significantly to their academic and professional development, making the event a meaningful and enriching experience for all.
