Introduction

The Student Club Social Technocrats (STc) of Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida, in association with IQAC and in collaboration with Physics Wallah (PW Skills), successfully organized a workshop on Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) on 24th February 2026.

The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications of emerging AI technologies. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, eager to explore the transformative potential of Generative AI in academics, industry, and everyday problem-solving.

Objectives:-

  • To introduce students to the fundamentals of Generative AI (Gen AI)
  • To build a strong understanding of the basics and working of Gen AI tools
  • To highlight the role of AI in business strategy and decision making
  • To provide insights into real-world implementations of AI technologies
  • To guide students on career opportunities and roadmap in the field of AI
  • To encourage students to explore innovation and practical applications of AI

Event Highlights

The session was conducted by Mr. Adfar Rasheed, a Software Engineer and Instructor at PW Skills, who brought both technical expertise and industry experience to the workshop.

The session began with an introduction to the fundamentals of Generative AI, including its evolution, working principles, and distinction from traditional AI systems. The speaker explained how advanced models generate human-like text, images, and other content, making AI more interactive and creative.
