National Pharmacy Education Day

On 6 March, Day 1 of  National Pharmacy Education Day 2026, a Herbal Cosmetic Preparation Competition was organized with great enthusiasm. Students from B.Pharm actively participated and displayed the herbal cosmetic products they prepared under the supervision of their assigned faculty members and staff. Along with the product display, students also presented informative posters related to their formulations. Creative reels were also made by the students, which were very impressive and appreciated by everyone. Judges from different departments visited, evaluated the work, and appreciated the students for their creativity, innovation, and efforts.

The second day of National Pharmacy Education Day, celebrated on 7 March, featured an informative guest lecture by Mr. Rohit Chauhan. He is a Cannabis Phytocannabinoids Extraction and Analysis Researcher with extensive experience in the chemistry of medicinal plants, particularly Cannabis, and in Plant Biotechnology across Europe, India, and Africa. During the session, he delivered an engaging lecture on “Key to Unlock the Real Power of the Cannabis Plant.” He explained the scientific aspects of cannabis, including phytocannabinoids extraction, medicinal applications, and the importance of research in utilizing cannabis for therapeutic purposes. The lecture provided valuable insights to students and enhanced their understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological potential of medicinal plants.
