Introduction

Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSoET), Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida successfully organized an HR Talk on “Industry Expectations and the Importance of Soft Skills”  for MCA (AI & ML) students of 2nd and 4th semesters. The session was conducted by Ms. Krishna Vineela, HR Head at Samatrix, who shared valuable insights into the evolving corporate landscape and the critical role of soft skills in professional success.

  • To bridge the gap between academic learning and corporate requirements.
  • To highlight the importance of soft skills alongside technical expertise.

Event Highlights

The programme commenced in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Awakash Mishra (Dean, MSoET), Dr. Savita (Head of Department, Computer Application), and Ms. Shivani Srivastava (Soft Skills Trainer). The dignitaries emphasized the importance of industry academia collaboration in shaping student careers.

Unlike conventional lectures, the session was highly interactive. Ms. Vineela engaged students in open dialogue, encouraging them to share aspirations and queries. A dedicated QA round addressed topics such as resume building, interview preparation, corporate culture and skill requirements in the IT sector.
