Objective of the Session:
The objective of the webinar on “Importance of Foreign Languages in the Current Market Scenario” was to highlight the growing demand for multilingual professionals in global business and emerging career opportunities. It aimed to create awareness about how foreign language proficiency enhances employability, cross-cultural communication, and competitive advantage in the international job market. The session was conducted as an outcome of the MoU signed with SkillsRediscovery.

 

Participating Students:
More than 70 students from MBA, B.Com., and BBA programmes attended the session through both online and offline modes.

The Maharishi School of Business Management, Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida, in collaboration with SkillsRediscovery and in association with IQAC, organized a webinar titled “Importance of Foreign Languages in the Current Market Scenario.” The session was conducted for MBA, BBA, and B.Com. students with the objective of enhancing their awareness about the growing relevance of foreign language proficiency in today’s global business environment.

The webinar commenced with a formal introduction of the resource person, Ms. Tanisha Batra, German Language Trainer. The session began with an engaging discussion on the significance of multilingual skills in the competitive global market. The speaker emphasized that foreign languages are no longer optional but have become a strategic career asset in multinational corporations and international business environments.

Ms. Batra highlighted the increasing demand for foreign language professionals in sectors such as IT, tourism, education, trade, and global services. She elaborated on how proficiency in languages like German can open doors to international career opportunities, enhance employability, and strengthen cross-cultural communication skills. The session also provided guidance on certification pathways and practical steps to begin learning a foreign language.

The webinar was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and raising queries related to career prospects, certification levels, and industry demand. The speaker encouraged students to view language learning as an investment in their professional growth and global mobility.

Overall, the webinar proved to be informative and enriching, broadening students’ perspectives on global career readiness and skill enhancement.
