Objective of the Workshop:
The workshop aimed to equip students with practical knowledge of modern sales techniques and innovative marketing strategies for startups, focusing on target market identification, value proposition development, digital marketing, customer relationship management, and sustainable growth in a competitive business environment.
Participating Students:
Out of 182 registered students, 117 students from different courses attended the workshop.
On 27th February 2026, the E-Club of the Maharishi School of Business Management, Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida, in coordination with IQAC, organized a workshop titled “Effective Sales and Marketing Strategies for Startups” at the SOC Hall, MUIT Noida.
The workshop was designed to equip students with practical knowledge of modern sales techniques and innovative marketing strategies for startups, focusing on target market identification, value proposition development, digital marketing, customer relationship management, and sustainable growth.
The programme commenced with the formal felicitation of the esteemed guest speaker, Prof. (Dr.) Lalit Kumar Sharma, by Dr. Azad Singh, Dean, Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT Noida, as a token of respect and appreciation. This was followed by his formal introduction, highlighting his academic excellence, professional achievements, and extensive experience in the fields of sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship, which set the tone for an insightful and enriching session.
During the session, Prof. (Dr.) Lalit Kumar Sharma shared valuable insights into effective sales planning, modern marketing trends, branding strategies, and innovative approaches suitable for startups. He emphasized the importance of understanding consumer behavior, identifying target markets, leveraging digital platforms and social media, and building sustainable customer relationships to ensure long-term business success.
The workshop was highly interactive, with students actively engaging through questions, discussions, and real-life examples. The speaker addressed their queries with practical illustrations, encouraging analytical thinking and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among the participants.
The workshop concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Azad Singh, who expressed sincere gratitude to the guest speaker and appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and students for making the workshop successful and impactful.
